Less than a month after Israel launched its genocide on Gaza, over half a million people flooded the streets of Washington DC on November 4, 2023, in support of the Palestinian people and demanding an immediate ceasefire, the lifting of the siege on Gaza, and an end to all US funding of Israel.
This march marked a new era of the struggle for Palestinian liberation in the United States, constituting the largest pro-Palestine protest in U.S. history. It demonstrated the broad, diverse, and popular support for the Palestinian cause, forever demolishing the myth that the U.S. government speaks for the people with its unconditional support for Israel.
